Share 10 tips to buy baby clothes

As beautiful as some garments can be seen in a shop window, we have to think mainly about their practicality, comfort and convenience when it comes to dressing the baby.

My experience has taught me that there are clothes that we use very rarely because it is not practical for us to change it or because the baby feels uncomfortable with it.

Therefore, in addition to liking, it is important to follow certain tips before buying baby clothes . For example:

  1. That incorporates automatic broaches (not plastic because they melt when ironing). The advisable thing is that the t-shirts have clasps in the neck and that the trousers have them in the crotch; It is much easier to change the diaper.

  2. That the fabrics are soft and easy to iron, preferably 100% cotton, especially if the baby is very small. Avoid hard fabrics and wool that lose lint.

  3. Avoid zipper belts and buttons on the garments of newborns. Prefer the waists with elastic fabric that adapt better and we are sure that you do not squeeze them.

  1. Prefer adjustable waists. When they are somewhat older, are ideal pants with adjustable waist, those that bring an elastic with buttons on the waist.

  2. Think of the younger brothers. When we have two children or more of the same sex (or not), we buy thinking of all the possible users of that garment. They grow so fast that at least we are satisfied to know that the garments will have double (sometimes triple) use.

  3. Make sure that our baby has clothes that match what we buy. This advice is especially for parents who like to leave the classic blue for boys and pink for girls.

  4. When they are newborns, prefer pants, pajamas and pajamas with foot included.

  5. Prefer bodies to T-shirts, especially in winter. They are always inside the pants / skirt and prevents the tripita from getting cold.

  6. The shoes: For newborns, to be warm (in winter), comfortable and soft. For the older ones, avoid the cords; Velcro shoes that can be placed and removed by themselves are preferable.

  7. The socks: neither small nor big because they can hurt their feet. In winter, buy them long knee length, because when lifting the baby the pants are raised and the legs are exposed.
