Share Mom, dad: "where do babies come from?"

Lola Rovati @Lolarovati

It is a question that all parents, sooner or later, must face in our lives. Luckily, I still have some time to think about the answer.

But do not trust, sometimes, the question "where do babies come from?" It arrives at the least expected moment. Generally, a new pregnancy in the family usually precipitate the curiosity of children.

When older siblings are not that old yet, telling them that babies leave your mother's gut is enough. And they are so happy with the answer.

The problem comes when older siblings, already somewhat older, ask how that baby has come to inhabit the belly of his mother.

And it is at that moment when parents make a mental gap and sweat our hands while we seek the best way to explain it. Some go to the famous story of the little seed, others (although I hope not) to the stork that brings the babies of Paris and a series of unusual stories to explain to children something as simple as sex.

But of course, there will be time to explain them better.

And you, how have you done or will you do to tell your son where babies come from?
